Uig, to the north of Skye is a lovely place in a sheltered bay or inlet and from there the ferries run a service to Tarbert on Lewis and Lochmaddy on North Uist.
The Fairy Glen is a popular attraction in the area leading to some wonderful folklore.
Uig has a pottery, which creates a lot of visitor interest.
To the north lie some places of historical interest with Flora Macdonald's monument and the Island Life Museum near Kilmuir.

Further on we come to the Castle of Duntulm which now is only a ruin.
Heading south now through Flodigarry to Brogaig with it's sandy beach and boating facilities, this is a good spot for a lie on the sand or a beach walk.
To the south again there are three features of interest, the Mealt Falls, the Lealt Falls and the Old Man of Storr all very much worth a look or snapshot.
This is exceptional country with lots to see and explore so book now for a great holiday.
