Located with the backdrop of Bennachie and within walking distance from the standing stones of Aberdeenshire lies Touched by Scotland. The talent of the artists of Scotland have been promoted and showcased here for the last 5 years. The gallery near Oyne is currently expanding and within a matter of months, Touched by Scotland will be one of the biggest craft centres of its kind in Scotland.

We have built a reputation of quality over the last 5 years. The pieces that we display are fresh, hand-made and unique. We work with artists possessing a wide spectrum of talents, from weavers to glassworkers and from wood carvers to beyond. In times of mass production and foreign markets it is refreshing to be able to boast such a pure collection which fuses contemporary style with the deep rooted culture of Scotland.

Working with the community of Oyne, Touched by Scotland regularly runs exhibitions and classes tutored by our featured artisans. Previous classes have included traditional book binding and looming. Exhibitions will be restarting from November once the new building is open. There is something to suit every taste.

It is now possible to buy from our artists direct ly from this website. There are gifts available for all occasions and there will be new pieces available online weekly. However, if you have the opportunity to come and see the centre in Oyne then make sure you do, you will love what the artisans of Scotland have to offer.
