Nigg is famous for its oil rig yard where great monster platforms are built for the North Sea Oil industry. Alness, Invergordon, Delny and Kildary are all small places, enlarged by the workforce and their families, of the Nigg yard, who have enhanced the prosperity and culture of the area, with a story to tell the visitor.
