Portsoy is a small but interesting town on the Moray coast with an old seventeenth century harbour. A reconstructed conservation village surrounds the harbour taking the visitor back in time, to a day when the life of the town pretty much centred on the comings and goings at the quayside.

Every year a very popular boat festival is held at the harbour attracting many tourists and participants. The atmosphere is one of great fun and I'm sure that this event will increase in popularity year on year

Fishing was once the major industry of the town but nowadays tourists and holidaymakers are the priority although there is still a busy working flour mill in the town.
This coast has some lovely beaches and of course the fishing is good so there's an incentive for a good
holiday.
