Poolewe, to the north of Gairloch is a lovely place and with the Inverewe Gardens famous the world over, makes for a good holiday. Inverewe Stage House offers campers excellent facilities. There's swimming at the pool and lots of excellent fishing from the surrounding waters. The walks to be enjoyed are quite exhilarating.

To the northwest lie such places as Aultbea, Mellon Udrigle, Opinan and Gruinard with the Ardessie Falls not far from Dundonnell. Take yourself around these villages and experience the wonderful scenic views that only Scotland can offer. You will not be disappointed.
