Gairloch, one of the prettiest spots on the map has an excellent beach and camping site. It boasts some spectacular scenery with some of the best walking routes and climbing areas in Scotland. The sandy beaches are quite stunning and totally unspoiled.

Add to that a very worthy museum and golf course plus a lot of fishing potential. What more could you want? Well, there's always a boat trip to see the whales and rare birdlife.

Redpoint, Port Henderson, Badachro to the west and Big Sand, Rua Reidh, Inverasdale to the north all have wonderful attributes well worth investigating so don't miss out.
