Fyvie is
a quiet little village tucked away in the shire countryside between
Turriff an Oldmeldrum.
It boasts a grand
thirteenth century castle run by the National Trust and has a
super old kirk with stained glass windows by Tiffany. The castle by
the way, is filled with some of the finest works of art and should not
be missed.
The River Ythan runs by the village and makes for a good riverbank
walk or fishing trip as it is reputed to be the best seatrout river
in Britain.

from the local hostelries.
Accommodation can be had in and around the area from the excellent Hotels,
Guesthouses, Caravan and Camping Sites.
Travel is by bus
or coach.
For the tourists from abroad the nearest airports are Aberdeen
with a connection to Fyvie by bus or coach, Glasgow and
Edinburgh both connect to Aberdeen by air, rail, bus or coach, and on
as above.
