Findhorn
village is a sleepy resort at the tip of Findhorn Bay in one of the
most picturesque settings anywhere. There are miles of sands for the
children to play on with bathing to be done especially in the bay itself.
To stroll the beach in the evening just to see the setting sun is a
must, for nothing can beat a Moray sunset.
People from all parts of the world come here because of the boating
and sailing for the local Yacht Club is famous the world over. The bay
itself is an excellent safe haven for yachts and other craft.
A New Age Centre
has also found it's home in Findhorn and this has brought many visitors
from all around the world, some to stay on, such is the beauty of the
place
Fishing can be done
from the jetty or shore for some good sport, and watersports such as
sailboarding prove to be popular.
A good game of golf can be had at nearby Forres
and there are other good courses at Nairn
or Lossiemouth.
