Drumnadrochit,
that village by the most famous loch in the world and the centre of
activity concerning the contents of that said loch, is unfortunately
not well known by name, that is until you have visited the place, then
you'll never forget it.
The loch is Loch Ness, home to 'Nessie' the monster and
Drumnadrochit is home to the monster hunters, seekers, viewers and not
least, the official Monster Centre.
To say it's a quiet
and peaceful little place would be true and, yet, untrue at the same
time, for the village itself gives that impression, but, at the centre,
it just teems with people all hoping for some information on where best
to spot the creature.
Being some seventeen miles long and of quite a deep nature, the loch
could no doubt hide a flotilla of monsters, so, be patient and try to
be quiet when scurrying for the best viewing places and make sure that
your camera is loaded.
