Carrbridge, with it's picturesque eighteenth century bridge across the River Dulnain and the beautiful surrounding countryside is a photographers' dream.

It boasts a nearby Heritage Centre, which will provide a day's enjoyment for all the family with it's extensive entertainments.

Pony trekking is another very enjoyable way to discover the countryside and if you have never tried it, for Carrbridge has a Centre, now is your chance.
If you are into hitting a wee white ball there's a golf course, which will offer a good challenge.

Fishing can be had in the area if you really need to cast a line.
I shouldn't need to tell you that the area is terrific for walkers.

The interesting Clan Grant Mausoleum is at nearby Duthill, and, if you are of that bloodline, or even if not, a visit there is worthwhile.
