Broadford, to the south of the island is the first main place you come to. The home of the famous 'Drambuie' first stilled and proved around the early sixteen hundreds, is still among the top liquors of the world.

The town is a smashing place, hustling and bustling with visitors during the holiday season. The Serpentarium and the World of Wood Centres are great attractions. Jewellery is another attribute of the area with some fine pieces being made by the local crafts people. In the bay boating and yachting are popular. Fishing is also good.
Woodcarving is done a little back along the road at Upper Breakish.

For Eats the local Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes provide good fayre.
Hotels, Guesthouses, Caravan and Camping sites are available.
Travel is by bus, coach or car.
