Ballachulish,
once a ferry point, now a pretty little village very much involved in
the tourism of the region.
The village boasts
a centre called the Highland Mystery World which draws many visitors,
a Confectionery Factory which I know to be very popular and a
Heritage Centre which has displays on the old slate mines of
the area.
Boating and fishing
are the attractions for many that visit the place. With all that water
around and set in a wonderful locality it's not surprising. With Ben
Nevis and Fort William just up
the road this is a good place to start your holiday from.
This is terrific
holiday country with a tremendous amount to see and do.
For Eats the Hotels,
Restaurants and Cafes of the area all provide excellent fayre.
